You'll get the most out of your membership if you invest time into helping committees stay active and innovative. Our committees implement the strategic plan for the Chapter. From programs to publications to legislative activity, committee members provide the strength that enables the Chapter to meet the needs of its member communities in the DFDW area.

Membership Committee: The committee is responsible for planning and implementing community outreach projects and the development of Chapter membership retention and recruitment campaigns, inclusive of the Ambassador Program. Effors will include the development of marketing materials and cultivation of media presence.
Magazine Committee: Responsible for the planning and development of content for the Chapter's quarterly magazine, ContactTM. The committee identifies topics and appropriate content and identifies and recruits appropriate authors and contributors.
Television Committee: Responsible for creating and distributing the Chapter's television show, Community Contact.
Texas Legislative Action Committee: Responsible for identifying legislative issues of importance to common interest communities in the specific jurisdiction of the committee. This includes local, regional, statewide and federal legislation. Monitors legislation and helps the Chapter set specific issue priorities.
Special Events Committee: Identifies, coordinates and promotes special events for the Chapter.
Golf Committee: Responsible for the overall management, selection of location, recruiting sponsors and planning of the Annual Golf Outing.
Trade Show Committee: Responsible for the overall development and management of the Conference & Expo including recruiting exhibitors and sponsors and promotion of the event. The Conference & Expo Committee works in conjunction with the Programming Committee to develop Conference seminars.
Programming Committee: Charged with the development, promotion and presentation of educational programs, including ABCs for Association Leaders, Advanced ABCs, Legislative Update & Professional Forum and Employment Seminar for the Chapter membership, paying particular attention to the needs of each of the interest groups. In addition, the Education Committee coordinates Conference seminars with the Conference & Expo Committee |
